The Wisdom Series LS3i is a full-size planar-magnetic line-source loudspeaker built for architectural installation. It is a statement design — a 60-inch planar line source engineered to deliver reference-grade sound as a main channel or surround, most often installed behind an acoustically transparent projection screen in a dedicated cinema or high-end media room.
This is a large in-wall loudspeaker, measuring 64.7 × 23.75 × 12 inches (164.3 × 60.3 × 30.5 cm) and weighing 200 lb (90 kg), so it is designed into the room’s construction. It is available in custom colours and, being intended to sit behind a screen or grille, is engineered to be heard rather than seen.
A single LS3i can reproduce sound pressure levels in excess of 127dB at 12 feet, with a quoted frequency response of 80Hz–20kHz (±3dB) and a sensitivity of 98dB (2.83V/1m). The 60-inch line source distributes sound evenly across the width of the room and reduces floor and ceiling reflections, giving consistent level and clarity from front to back.
The LS3i is a two-way design built on a 60-inch planar-magnetic line source. It requires two channels of amplification and an outboard active crossover with DSP, so its response can be tailored precisely to the installation.
